iMedX Announces Acquisition of Medware Inc

iMedX Inc, a healthcare software and services company, announced that it has acquired Medware Inc.

Based just outside of Orlando, Fla., Medware currently serves more than 60 health systems across the country, utilizing a labor force of over 350 U.S.-based medical language specialists.

Venkat Sharma, iMedX's president and CEO, along with the current iMedX management team, will continue to lead the combined companies. Medware will operate as a division of iMedX, with Medware's production and operational team joining iMedX.
