ICDLogic joined the award-winning Allscripts Developer Program to build an integration using the Allscripts Open API [application program interface]. The planned integration will enable Allscripts EHR users to access CypherLink, a clinical documentation guidance tool, from within their clinical workflow. CypherLink rapidly generates the most accurate and specific ICD-10 codes while providing expert documentation guidance to communicate the complexity of care each patient receives.
CypherLink was designed for and by clinicians to make ICD-10 code specification and clinical documentation fast and easy.
• Physicians spend more time with patients and less time responding to documentation questions from administrative staff and insurers.
• Expert-developed clinical documentation improvement guidance prompts physicians for additional factors, underlying causes, complications, and comorbidities relevant to their patient’s condition.
• It significantly reduces coding queries and helps avoid denials and audits.
“Our goal is to help clinicians see more patients and improve practice productivity, instead of wasting valuable time worrying about picking the right code for reimbursement,” says Monique Fayad, CEO of ICDLogic. “Joining the Allscripts Developer Program enables us to help health care providers accurately document the complexity of care during each patient encounter, which becomes increasingly important under ICD-10 and as our health care system moves toward value-based reimbursement.”
