The Healthcare Financial Management Association’s (HFMA) 2015 National Institute is set for June 22-25 in Orlando, Florida. Attendees can connect with colleagues at networking events such as a welcome reception at Orlando’s premiere Cuban restaurant and nightclub Cuba Libre, and a Blues Bash at BB King’s Blues Club at Pointe Orlando.
The HFMA conference will provide information on eight areas of interest, with sessions covering business intelligence, data, and analytics; regulatory and compliance updates; clinical integration; collaboration for decision making; payment trends and delivery models; revenue cycle and the patient experience; cost management/margin transformation; and finance/capital markets. For example, those interested in analytics may want to attend “Taking Analytics to the Next Level — Five Key Strategies” by Graham Hughes, MD, while those interested in collaboration could attend “Physician Collaborations That Drive Value in Healthcare” by Grace Terrell, MD.
Attendees have the opportunity to earn up to 25.5 CPEs, and can choose from five preconference workshops. Keynote presentations, which focus on preparing for change and the future, include the following:
Attendees can take advantage of HFMA’s free ANI mobile app, available on iTunes and Google Play, to review the program, create a schedule, and view maps of the convention center and exhibit hall. The app also provides access to messages and tweets (#ANI2015) during the conference so attendees can stay up to date.
