Hyland Software Acquires Valco Data Systems

Hyland Software recently announced that it has purchased privately held Valco Data Systems, a provider of document management, document imaging, workflow, and HIM integration solutions focused on the healthcare market. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
  
Founded in 1994, Valco is a full-service company providing software, integration, consulting, support, and training services to more than 300 hospitals, regional health information organizations, and integrated delivery networks across North America. The company is best known for providing paperless hospital solutions designed to work together and integrate with software from MEDITECH, a vendor in the healthcare informatics industry.
